Start wherever you are — the placement test can tell you exactly where that is.

Each level builds on the last, so you can work straight through the ladder, or drop in at the level that matches where you already are.

Level 1

Beginner 1

The essential foundations — nouns, pronouns, basic tenses, and simple sentence structure.

Level 2

Beginner 2

Building on the basics with more tenses, comparatives, modals, and everyday sentence variety.

Level 3

Intermediate

Conditionals, passive voice, reported speech — the grammar that makes writing sound genuinely fluent.

Level 4

Advanced

Nuance, subtlety, and the fine distinctions that separate fluent from native-sounding.

Ten modules that lay the groundwork for everything else.

Each Beginner 1 module starts with a short explanation, followed by practice and completed with a quick quiz to make sure you've understood everything. If you haven't, don't worry; you can try again in the practice section before the final exam.
